The Dame Alice Owen's Make-a-Wish golf challenge
We are Year 7 students from Dame Alice Owen's School and we want to make a difference! Our aim is to make money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, who help hundreds of seriously ill children every month. They help families to create long-lasting memories that would otherwise not be possible.
In an attempt to raise £2750, we plan to hit 2750 (ten rounds of 275) golf balls into paddling pools from a distance of 75 yards. We don't have much experience playing golf, but we have loads of enthusiasm and would love for you to support us in our challenge!
There will be prizes for the people who correctly guess the number of balls we hit into the water and the amount of time it takes us to hit 2750 balls. If you donate and would like to take part in the prizes, in brackets after your name, please put the number of balls that you think will land in the pools and/ or how long you think it will take us to complete the task.
Thank you for your support!
