The Giveadaam "Sun's Out - Funds Out" Campaign

We are the Giveadaam’ers of Green Bay, Wisconsin and we despise slow progress - especially when it relates to sustainability.
Since the Spring of 2018, Giveadaam Ventures, LLC has been collaborating with the City of Green Bay’s Redevelopment Authority on introducing an affordable and energy-efficient property in their Navarino Neighborhood. The LLC was deeded a lot on July 15, 2020 for their first project - a Passive House certifiable 2-family, 5 bedroom, approximately 2,500 square feet of living area property to be rented solely to college students and/or young professionals. The goal of the property is to be a net-zero energy home throughout the course of a year, meaning the amount of energy it will consume will be completely offset by the energy it will produce through the incorporation of on-site renewable energy - specifically solar panels.
The orientation of the first Giveadaam property was determined to maximize the potential for solar energy. Half of the roofs for both the property and the carport are south facing, meaning they are ideal for maximum solar production. In order to completely offset the amount of electricity consumed by the first Giveadaam property, we need to do the following:
RAISE: $11,200
INSTALL: 14 solar panels
GENERATE: 5,600 kWh of clean, renewable electricity annually
