Those in the Wa-Nee and Elkhart community are loving on the Jones family after their husband and father unexpectedly passed away due to health issues. The Jones' have 3 children and his wife, Megan will show her kids how strong she is.
If you have had children in the Wa-Nee school system in the last 1-2 decades, there is a very good chance that Mrs. Jones was or is their art teacher. Curtis played a key role at Miller's Merry Manor - Wakarusa in helping mitigate Covid and keeping the structure operating. If you visited Miller's in Wakarusa or Pro Hardware when Kenny owned it, then you likely were helped by Curtis. He had a great heart for service to others. Electrical, HVAC or plumbing emergency? Vehicle trouble? Remodeling help? Curtis would consistently show up, often disregarding his own needs.
The family has incurred medical and funeral costs as well as becoming a single income family. This gofundme page was created to help this family as they are forced to adjust without their patriarch. So I wanted to create an opportunity, especially for followers of the faith, that can show how we can love on this widow and the fatherless.
The Jones' have served this community for many, many years. If they have touched your life in some way, consider showing up for this art teacher and her kids as they are adjusting to a different life plan.
