The Curse of Raven Heights by Blair Smith

The Curse of Rave Heights is the brain child of Blair Smith and Wesley Johnson.  These two Minnesotan filmmakers are looking to help their local film community expand it's horizons by turning their dream project into a feature film.  

The filmmakers are looking for contributions to help them finish this incredibly ambitious project. They feel that this project could be a milestone for the Minnesota film-making community. 

The story:
When the estranged and esoteric family member, Aunt Ginny, passes away, her family members travel to her home to say their final goodbyes. In doing so, they slowly uncover a familiar darkness that lurks within the shadows of Raven Heights.

The creative minds behind the film:

Blair Smith- Head of GLASS CELLAR PRODUCTIONS is the director and producer of this film. Known for his work as an actor/director, Blair looks to use this feature film to help boost the Minnesota film community. A visionary with a dream, Blair is dedicated to seeing this project through.

Wesley Johnson- Head of WES EFFECT ENTERTAINMENT  (https://www.facebook.com/weseffectmn/) and writer/producer of the film, brings his passion for writing and music making and uses them to an astounding effect. 

The film features the incredible talents of local Minnesotan actors.

Jane Hammill-Golembeck, a popular Minnesotan thespian, stars as
the estranged and recently "deceased" Aunt Ginny. She breathes life into her role, as she uses her talent to display this many faceted character! 
 
Paul Economon, who starred in Wes and Blair's other short film "Mercenary Kingdom",  stars as Kyle, a protective father who finds a way to smile through the pain of having recently lost a loved one. With subtle nuance, be brings his character to life in an incredibly emotionally impactful way. 

Eric Johnson Jr, also known for his role in "Mercenary Kingdom", plays the sporadic and humorous Uncle of the family, Marcus. Charismatic and intelligent, he brings an incredible performance to the screen.

The film also features the incredible talents of young, up and coming actors such as Sally-Anne, Hannah Theisen and Isaac Theisen who play Robin, Angela and Billy. This trio is the glue that holds the film together. Their acting abilities show potential for incredibly promising futures!


Alongside the amazing talents are the incredibly passionate crew who desire to see this project through. 


The film was shot on the beautiful lakeside get away of Sweetwater Resort. The cast and crew of this project wish to help give back to this wonderful resort for letting us film in their cabins.
