My partner and I were recently evicted from our home, and we were given a choice that broke us — give up our six German Shepherds, or lose everything. But these dogs aren’t “just pets” to me. They are my family. They’ve stood by me through everything, and I couldn’t turn my back on them when they needed me the most. So we lost our home. Right now, we’re living in a pulling caravan. Six big dogs, two people, and barely enough space to move. The nights are freezing, the days are exhausting, and every single day is a fight to keep going. But I look at them — they trust me, they rely on me — and I know I have to keep pushing. I’m doing everything I can to find somewhere for us to live, but finding a place that will accept six large dogs feels almost impossible. Time is against us, and I’m scared of what happens if we can’t sort something soon. I’m not asking for an easy life. I’m just asking for a chance — a chance to keep my family together and give my dogs the safe, warm home they deserve.
