The Crimson Cross - Short film

The Crimson Cross is a fantasy horror set during The Great
Plague of the 1600s.
It follows our protagonist Richter, an ex-doctor who has recently lost his wife and baby. Stricken with grief, he thinks back to an old patient confessing his sins on his deathbed. This patient spoke of having to commit cardinal sins to bring back his dead son – originally batting this off as the mad ramblings of a dying man, Richter is now treating this confession very seriously.
Following the same quest, Richter is sent to collect three
ingredients, the heart of the innocent, the blood of the wicked, and finally, the eyes of a witch. This brings us to the start of our tale, with Richter alone in an isolated hut with Eileen Baker – a rumoured witch.
