Lori has been living with kidney disease for quite some time. Until recently, it has just been a 'let's monitor it' issue. In June she was, unexpectedly, dealt the devastating news that she would need a kidney transplant.
While all who know them knew Lori and Rob were a perfect match, little did we know 14years later how perfect of a match they are!! Rob is a perfect match to donate a kidney to Lori and has not hesitated in his commitment to her.
The funds raised with this account will help keep them going during their recovery from the dual surgeries. They will both be out of commission recovering but bills still must be paid, insurance deductibles, other responsibilities and commitments must be met.
Lori and Rob give so much of themselves to taking care of Lori's parents, their daughters and all that Lori, selflessly, gives to the City of Fort Lauderdale.
Every donation will help give them peace of mind and relieve some stress from their already over burdened minds while they continue this journey
