Needing a Better Life - Montana Bound
Donation protected
Our friend and fellow Rickards High School classmate, David Crenshaw, has had a rough time of it lately, and needs our financial help.
They, David Crenshaw and his wife Kimberly, got behind on their mortgage, and have been foreclosed on, and they now have just a few days to vacate. The stress and embarrassment of this led him to overdose on prescription pain medication. He thankfully survived and after being released from spending several days in the hospital came home to a phone call that he no longer had a job. The foreclosure caused him to lose the security clearance he had, and so the company he worked for had to let him go. A man who is a veteran of our U.S. Navy, having served 15 years active duty and 5 years Reserves, is being denied a security clearance because he fell behind and lost his home -- so very sad.
Only days from literally being homeless, this family has made the decision to start over in Helena, Montana. They fell in love with the area when David had a job possibility there a few years back. David, Kimberly, Gentry, Hailey, and their 4 rescue dogs will be living out of their vehicle and hopefully a moving truck as they travel from Memphis, Tennessee to Helena, Montana. David has already applied to several jobs in the area. They are hoping and praying they will have some interviews waiting for him when they arrive.
Starting over isn't easy. We are asking and hoping that together, we can come up with $5000 to help them cover the costs of getting to Montana and setting up residence once they get there. Your financial help at this time would be appreciated more than you'll ever know.
