The Cove Survivor Official
Donation protected
To protect the family involved in this crime, they will remain anonymous. Early Halloween morning, a 19 year old young woman was sitting in her car at her older sisters apartment complex, The Cove. She was about to get out of her car when 2 young men swung her doors open out of no where. She was attacked and assaulted in too many ways. The 2 people then took off in her car and while pulling out they tried to hit her. Her only option was to jump on top of the car which she was then stuck on the back of until she was flung off. The family and her are so grateful for the young women that found her and got her to the hospital immediately.
With all of this being said, it has put a financial hardship on the survivor and her family. This tragedy has her and her family unable to work due to the emotional suffering. They have also installed a security system, have to pay for counseling and bought an emotional support dog for the survivor. All of her personal belongings that were inside the car are gone as well as the car itself. They are slowly trying to replace these things for her but it cannot all happen at once. These things were all necessary for them to start to move on but are very costly. They greatly appreciate any kind of donation and one day hope to give back to these organizations that have helped them through this traumatic experience.
