On Friday August 26th around 11:20 pm a fire began inside of the home of the Covarrubias- Rodríguez family in Orondo. Their daughter Rebecca Covarrubias and son Maximiliano Covarrubias were both injured and taken to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee WA. Rebeccas injuries were critical and she was later flown to Harbor View Medical Center in Seattle Washington. She had undergone a lung treatment and was later intubated. She also suffered 2nd degree surface burns on her hands. Maximiliano was on a ventilator to help stabilize his breathing. Both Rebecca and Maximiliano have been released and are currently recovering with their family. The Covarrubias are currently staying with a family friend until they can rebuild their home. We are asking for anything you are willing to donate to help this family and their current situation. El viernes 26 de agosto alrededor de las 11:20 pm se inició un incendio al interior de la casa de la familia Covarrubias-Rodríguez en Orondo. Su hija Rebecca Covarrubias y su hijo Maximiliano Covarrubias resultaron heridos y fueron trasladados al Hospital Central Washington en Wenatchee WA. Las lesiones de Rebecca eran críticas y luego fue trasladada en helicóptero al Centro Médico Harbor View en Seattle, Washington. Se había sometido a un tratamiento pulmonar y luego fue intubada en el Centro Médico Harbor View. También sufrió quemaduras superficiales de segundo grado en las manos. Maximiliano estaba conectado a un ventilador para ayudar a estabilizar su respiración. Tanto Rebecca como Maximiliano han sido dados de alta y actualmente se están recuperando con su familia. Los Covarrubias actualmente se están quedando con un amigo de la familia hasta que puedan reconstruir su hogar. Estamos pidiendo cualquier cosa que esté dispuesto a donar para ayudar a esta familia y su situación.
