We’ve got something super exciting to share with you, and we’d love for you to be part of it! This

August, The Covering is taking a big leap of faith to host the Courageous Creatives

Panel at the world-famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival

—and we need your help to make it happen!

What’s This All About?

Imagine a room full of artists, performers, and creatives from all over the world, gathered to talk

about how faith and creativity collide. That’s exactly what we’re doing! Our panel will feature

amazing Christian creatives from filmmakers, musicians, writers, actors, and more, who are

boldly living out their faith in the entertainment industry.

We’ll be sharing stories, sparking conversations, and showing how Jesus can inspire and

transform the world of arts. It’s a chance to bring hope, truth, and a whole lot of creativity to one

of the biggest arts festivals on the planet!

Then imagine professional singers bringing a concert that will uplift your spirit and give you the inspiration and passion to keep creating.

Why This Matters to Us/Why We’re Asking for Your Support

As the covering we know how hard it can be to be in the creative industry. We know that to go after your vision or dream takes a whole lot of courage!

We also understand that sometimes all you need is that extra push. We want to come to the biggest creative festival to inspire, ignite and empower other creatives to believe in themselves and step out in faith on their projects. We want to give opportunity for them to share their vision and projects that maybe next year we will see their show at the festival.

We know those coming to this amazing festival are all at different stages of their creative journey. We want to create a safe space for them to come and not only share their ideas and gifts but also be encouraged to take the next steps. We are a space that welcomes everyone! If you’re a creative in any way this space is for you. We want to help creatives find a place of safety and a place of rest. We have helped so many creatives to find purpose, community and safety. We know during these amazing festival times burn out and fatigue are inevitable, so through our panel and our gospel concert they will find the refreshing we know they may need.

Why We’re Asking for Your Support

Here’s the thing: putting on an event like this takes a village (and a bit of cash!). We’re aiming to

raise £5,500 to cover:

Travel for our awesome panellist’s and team

Accommodation (because even creatives need a place to sleep!)

Venue rental and event logistics

Promotional materials to spread the word far and wide

Every single pound you give will help us create a space where faith and creativity can shine

brightly. Whether you can give £5 or £500, your support means the world to us.
