Costs Towards major hip surgery and my recovery

Donation protected
Hi all, My name is Chelsey Van der Zwan and as most of you know I have suffered from major hip pain for the past 7+ years. After a very long time and pain as well as over 3 years of constant tests they finally discovered that I have Bilateral acetabular retroversion (a type of bad hip dysplasia) , Femoroacetabular impingement also known as FAI. I also got diagnosed with sclerosis on my sacroiliac joint which causes bad back pain as well as cartilage loss in my hip. Due to having this condition for 6 years I wasn't able to play anymore sports or work long hours or do anything I really love due to the amount of pain it has brought me. Over the last 5 months I have gotten worse and worse to a point now standing or walking for more then a minute causes such extreme pain that I have been in and out of hospital because of how bad the pain is and unable to even walk or have any weight on my leg that because of this my surgeons have brought forward my surgery to the 5th of May 2025. This has come as huge shock due to not expecting surgery to be for another 2+ years. The surgery I will be getting is called PAO and PFO hip surgery, which is where they will be cutting my pelvis open in 4 different spots as well as also cutting my femur and re facing/twisting it so it sits in my hip socket properly. This is a major hip operation and the recovery is anywhere between 3-12 months until I'm able to be back to full work capacity. I won't be able to walk without crutches until around the end of July early August (say goodbye to my 21st birthday aha). Due to me being out of work from my hip surgery, I wont be able to bring any money in which means my partner will be the only one bringing in a income, he will also have to take time off work to look after me and take me to appointments ect. We have just been told we have 3-5 weeks to find somewhere else to live however surgery is in 3 weeks and the 2 weeks after surgery I will be completely bed bound and in a wheelchair unable to walk or move, Between all the costs of everything to live as well any money could help at the moment. here is a photo below of what my hip will look like after surgery
Physiotherapy is going to be extremely expensive as medicare only covered 3 sessions and I've used them already this year, I will need to be seeing my physiotherapist weekly and for quite awhile after the surgery as well, however having to pay for fuel to get to and from surgery and to get to appointments, as well as medications not being covered due to so many of them as well as having to rent out the wheelchairs/crutches ect the cost is going to be extremely pricey and not possible with only one income coming in. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I know times are hard for everyone right now for everyone, if you are unable to donate sharing around would mean just as much to me and I would like to greatly thank anyone who donates and shares <3
