Hey, most of you already know me and the story of how I made the US my home about 20 years ago, but for those who do not know me, my name is Hein, I’m fundraising for my wonderful mother, back in South Africa, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She had a double mastectomy a month ago and her lymph nodes in her arm pits removed also. After a successful surgery and lots of prayers, unfortunately the lymph nodes also tested positive for cancer. She does not have the best insurance and her options for treatments are limited to the South African government hospital where she lives. She would then get put on a waiting list for 9 months before they would start any treatment or she could go to a private hospital where she could start chemotherapy right away. The cost of fighting cancer can be detrimental. But with the US dollar being worth more in her country, I’m hoping, with your help, we can raise enough money for her, so she can beat cancer with the best care. Thank you all in advance!
