The Cooke Family Emergency Fund

Our team is putting together this GoFundMe for The Cooke’s.

 

Most of you probably know and have seen by now that Greg had an accident at work a couple weeks ago. Falling 16 feet from scaffolding, he broke his left knee and

severely dislocated his right foot. He goes in for his third surgery tomorrow morning(6/22). His injuries have resulted in him being non-weight bearing and in a wheelchair for at least 12 weeks. After the wheelchair, he’ll have a long road of rehabilitation and physical therapy to get him walking again and to build up to be able to get back to work. We are praying he’ll be able to return to his normal work duties and recover fully.

 

In the midst of all of this, The Cooke’s are moving. Their lease ends at the end of this month and their new place won’t be available to move into until Mid July but that

isn’t confirmed yet as they’re waiting for the building to be done. They had plans to stay with us in the interim but now that Greg is in a wheelchair and requires specific

care, that option isn’t going to work logistically anymore.

 

First and foremost, your prayer for strength, healing, and encouragement is so appreciated. But also, the loss in his normal pay rate has already put a strain on things but now there are multiple other challenges that they need help with financially. If you feel led to donate, in any amount, I know it would be so very helpful for them to be

able to figure out a hotel and extra expenses that come with their current situation.
