The Convoy Of Steadfastness
Donation protected
My name is Wajih. I’m a U.S.–Tunisian citizen currently in Tunisia, answering a historic humanitarian call, to stand in solidarity with the people of Gaza by joining a peaceful, self-funded convoy from Tunisia to the Rafah border.
This national convoy, called the “The Convoy of Steadfastness,” is made up of everyday Tunisians, young and old, from all regions, coming together with no sponsors, no government or organization support. Every person is paying their own way, using their personal resources to show the world that Gaza is not alone.
The convoy will depart on June 9, traveling overland through Libya and into Egypt, with one goal: to reach Rafah and break the siege with our presence, our voices, and our solidarity.
For the past 6 months, I’ve had no source of income, but I feel I must be part of this historic action. That’s why I’m asking for your support, not to fund the movement itself (it refuses any outside funding, no NGO money, no government backing. That’s the point, to stay independent and free from pressure.), but to help me cover my own personal travel costs to participate.
Your donation will go toward:
Paperwork
Bus/shared transport fees
Food & essentials on the road
Accommodations or shelter along the journey
Emergency support during travel if needed
I’m estimating a goal of $1,200–$1,500 USD, but I’ll update as costs become clearer. Any amount you can give will help me take this step with dignity and sincerity.
This is a once-in-a-generation people-powered action for justice and freedom. If I go, I carry not only my voice, but the love and prayers of everyone who believes in humanity.
If you can't donate, please share this with others. Every voice counts. Every mile matters.
Note: If, for any unforeseen reason, I am unable to participate in the convoy as planned, I will offer full refunds to any donor who requests it. Alternatively, with your consent, I may forward the funds to another trusted participant in the convoy so your support still reaches Gaza in spirit.
In solidarity and with deep gratitude,
Wajih
