Subject: Sponsorship Request for High School Drumline Equipment

Dear people of gofundme,

I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Xander Gibson, and I am writing on behalf of my local high school marching band to request your support in helping us purchase a new set of drums for our marching percussion section.

Our current drumline equipment has served us well for over ten years, but it has reached the point where regular maintenance is no longer enough to keep the drums in proper condition. Over the past marching season, we’ve experienced increasing issues with the drums holding tune, leading to many late nights before competitions just to ensure our instruments were performance-ready. Despite these challenges, our students have continued to show tremendous dedication and pride in representing their school.

This past year, our 2025 drumline earned Best Percussion in our Class at one of our competitions—a remarkable accomplishment, especially considering we often field the smallest percussion section at events. Their hard work and team spirit continue to set an inspiring example for the rest of the band.

To continue this momentum and give our students the tools they deserve, we are seeking sponsorships to help us purchase:

• 5 Snare Drums

• 5 Bass Drums

• 2 Quad/Tenor Sets

• New Carriers, Cases, and Stands for all instruments

Looking ahead, our goal is to grow the band program and strengthen our percussion section to remain competitive in our class. The students have already expressed a strong desire to begin preparing for winter percussion competitions during the 2026–2027 school year. Unfortunately, due to current funding limitations, we were unable to participate this year—but with your help, we can make that dream a reality next season.

Your support will directly impact our students by providing them with reliable, high-quality instruments that allow them to focus on their musicianship, teamwork, and performance excellence. Any contribution would be deeply appreciated and recognized within our school and community.

Thank you for taking the time to consider supporting our high school drumline. Together, we can ensure that our students have the opportunity to continue growing and achieving great things in music.
