The Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra, Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie,unveiled the Legacy of Hope Vision in January 2021, a series of projects, to be undertaken by the Archdiocese of Accra.

The hope and vision of the first project in this vision, is the construction of a Paediatric Hospital with a focus on childhood cancer in Accra, Ghana, West Africa.

This model of excellence is one of a kind; dedicating resources to providing specialist care for children. This will impact their quality of life, help with early detection and increase survival rates, especially for children suffering from cancer.

The first phase of this unique facility will have an outpatient department, operating theatre, intensive care unit, pharmacy and a maternity and special accommodation unit for mothers, among others. This will focus on providing immediate care for children and pregnant women. The second phase will have specialist units dedicated to Oncology.

The project will be financed from fundraising efforts,therefore we are appealing to all humanity to help bring this initiative into reality. Every donation no matter the amount is extremely important and will go towards making the world a better place for children.
