I’m fundraising for one of my closest friends, Alissa Shelander, and her boyfriend, Matt Conner.

Alissa and Matt found out the best news this past summer, they were going to be parents of twin girls! On 12/16/23, Alissa had to be life flighted to Magee Women’s hospital in Pittsburgh, after finding outing she was in preterm labor. On 12/19/23, Mila and Aurora, decided to make their entrance into the world at 24 weeks gestation. The girls are strong and doing good, but the family has a long journey ahead of them over the next several months. Alissa and Matt will be faced with several medical bills and housing costs, as they are staying 2.5 hours away from their hometown to be close to the girls.
