The Connor House

Donation protected
Our Connor lost his battle with a horrible disease known as addiction on January 24th, 2022. Definitive plans are still in the works but our aim is to open a recovery center named The Connor House that will serve young people who, like our son, are struggling with this horrible disease. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that fewer families have to endure the pain we are experiencing.

Currently, local people who are released from rehab centers are urged to continue to seek intensive help on their own. Relapse rates are high. It takes upwards of a year and a half to retrain the brain to stop needing the addictive drug. Connor wanted a peaceful farm in the country, away from bad influences, where people like him could continue intensive therapy, provide for themselves, and continue the therapy they need to get past the toughest part of a lifetime of recovery.

Persuing Connor's legacy will not be an instant thing. There are so many regulations and hoops to jump through. So it's going to be a while before we have definitive plans. However, so many of our friends have been asking how they can help, and this is it. If these plans don't work out, the funds will go to a program of our choosing that comes closest to Connor's dream.

Thank you all for the love. We feel it.
