The Comfort Project

Donation protected
Most people are lucky enough not to have found themselves in a psychiatric hospital. But for those of us who have, there are a few things that can make it a little easier.
Patients admitted to a psychiatric ward can come in from general hospitals, police stations, off the streets and all kinds of unexpected situations.
The NHS does an amazing job at providing the bare minimum with the budget they have. But many patients find themselves without the ability to organise getting any personal belongings and without friends or family to bring them things.
This is why I have started The Comfort Project. I'm trying to arrange for each ward in our area (with the goal to branch out) to have a box of spare clothes, toiletries and comfort items for patients who have nothing.
We would be so grateful for any money people could give to go towards the actual plastic boxes that must be sturdy with lids, items that must be new (such as underwear) and washing second hand clothes, pyjamas and comfort items.
Any amount would be helpful and we are so so grateful!
