First off want to thank you for taking the time to read my message, my name is Andrew and I am creating this go fund me page for my Nephew who I consider my little brother. If you may remember Joey was diagnosed with a very rare cancer called Ewing sarcoma back in 2014 which destroyed his dream of having a professional basketball career. Even with a grapefruit-sized tumor in his chest, he was a great ball player. Well, it pains me to say he must overcome adversity and fight that battle once again. After nearly 10 years of being in remission, Doctors have discovered a golfball-sized tumor in his chest. I am asking you all to please help in any way you can even if it's saying a prayer to the Covvarribias family to give him the strength to beat this once again.

All funds raised will go directly to the family to help pay for medical costs and any travel needed. Right now the specialist team who helped Joey in the past is located in Santa Monica which is over 70 miles each way from their home. It is unknown how many chemotherapy treatments, Dr. visits, scans, etc will be required but if you live in LA you know 70 miles could mean hours of travel.
