The Collective Bar n Lounge Brattleboro Vt.
Donation protected
Well Folks!! The Rumors are true! Kate Barry and Marty Griffin have partnered up to bring back the fun to Downtown Brattleboro. We are actively working on reopening the old Arkham and Metro spaces which we are calling “The Collective”. The sheer definition of the word “collective” is what we want these spaces to represent. A diverse group of people sharing a common goal. Celebrating art, music and the unique diversity which makes up our amazing community of Brattleboro.

As owners we want to be active in the revival of downtown Brattleboro. We also want to work diligently in raising awareness and money for local charities. The old Arkham space will continue to serve as your local funky and fun bar space serving affordable tasty drinks and food. We plan on using the Metro space for charity events, art showings, music, trivia nights and private functions. Covid has changed the narrative of what bars will and can be. We understand that narrative will continue to change. We have no doubts as owners that we along with our patrons and the creative Brattleboro community that we will succeed in this amazing journey.
As owners and active members of this community we are asking for you help. We are trying to create additional funds to expedite the process of opening. These funds will solidify our ability to get in right away and start redesigning, building and purchasing equipment to operate. Allows us to not to fully rely on the loan process which as of now can take weeks. Help us hit the ground running with the hopes of opening by mid June/ early July. We are also committed as a business once we are up a running to forwarding the money raised to two local charities, Ground Works and also eliminating school lunch debt in Windham County or your donation will be refunded in gift cards to use at our locations.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. To those who have already reached out to us thank you for your support and encouragement. We will treat our business and community with the upmost love and respect in deserves.
Thank You,
Marty and Kate
