Hello everyone,

My name is Courtney Silver and I'm raising money for the Cole family who lost their home in the Carr Fire that is still currently raging in Redding. They were out of town when the fire began and was unable to make it home in time to save any of their household items, clothing, truck, cherished family items, and anything you could imagine a home of 22 years would have in it. They are devastated and are in need of our help!  

Becca Cole (daughter) is one of my best friends and over the past many years, her family has become my family. They are truly wonderful people and my heart breaks for them! Please, if you can, donate to this amazing family in need! They need to completely rebuild their lives, from new clothing and personal items to kitchen equipment. They have been left with nothing. Funds from this site will go directly to the Cole family to help them rebuild their lives. Below is a note from Roberta Cole (Mom).

"We are completely numb and emotionally drained. Fortunately, we get strength from the outpouring of love, we continue to receive from our friends & family. It has been confirmed; our house is totally destroyed. All that is left is a pile of ash, rock, metal and a hand carved, wood sign, still hanging, that reads "Cole". The HUGE fire is still very active throughout the county and there are downed power lines on every street of the neighborhood. Most of the firefighting effort is spent fighting the fire and not mopping up. It will be a while before we can get in and see the remains."
