Hi! I’m Liz and I’m creating this fundraiser for Maverick and his family.

Update from Bree: Maverick was released from the hospital last Thursday but unfortunately on Monday we noticed excess swelling, sleepiness and drainage. Mama brought him into the ER Monday night and they drained about 50 mls of fluid from his head and sent some off to labs. He now has an infection and form of meningitis in his head and an infection separate in his body. Yesterday when he went back to the OR to clean out the infection, they saw that the skull they opened last surgery was too infected to keep so they took that out and as of now he is missing that piece of skull. He did get a PICC line placed as well. Infection disease doctors and neuro surgeons will be closely monitoring him. They are stating this can be up to a month stay and before we can leave he will need a helmet to go home and eventually will have a prosthetic skull piece places. Mommy is on FMLA and has already ran out of sick and vacation time so from here on out she is unpaid. Anything helps even a share. We know we have a village and hopefully this is just a bump in the road.
