Support the Cojulun's get through this tragedy

I've created a go-fund me to help one of my oldest and closest friends, Christine Cojulun and her family. She is like a sister to me and the amount of pain and tragedy they have experienced in the last 2 weeks is unbearable to imagine and has put a great financial strain on them that I hope this can help alleviate.

On January 4th, Christine’s father passed away unexpectedly in the South of France. Christine and her daughter immediately made the long trip to France to be with her mom during this difficult time, planning the funeral and helping her navigate next steps. They returned home this last Monday, January 15th. On Wednesday, January 17th, Christine's aunt, her mother's sister, passed away. Her mother had now lost her life partner of 59 years and her only sibling within days of each other. Christine made a point to speak to her mother everyday this last week to make sure she was ok and did not feel so alone in her grieving. On Thursday, the day after her aunt passed, Christine was unable to reach her mom. While at work, Christine received the devastating news that her mother had been in a horrific car accident and had been airlifted to the hospital. Sadly, Christine’s mom had a heart attack while driving home from a doctor's appointment, lost control of the car and crashed into another vehicle. She suffered life threatening injuries including several broken bones and a perforated lung. During the air transport, she suffered a second heart attack. Christine’s mom is currently in critical condition in the ICU in a coma.

The pain and grief this family is feeling is overwhelming and the added stress caused by the unexpected financial expenses is just compounding the issues. If you personally know the Cojulun’s, you know how genuine, generous, and self-less they are. They have helped me and my son during some of our hardest times and now I hope, with your help, we can alleviate some of the added stress resulting from all the associated unexpected costs. These tragedies have required expensive last minute flights, traveling expenses, funeral arrangements, and unfortunately with Christine's mother's critical condition these costs will only multiply.
