The Cobbler's Son

I’m Logan VanHook, a film student attending Lee University, and I need your help with my senior film, “The Cobbler's Son.”

The short film tells the story of a man who has lived a life of sin and darkness, who confesses his life story to a Priest. Through flashbacks, we see pieces of this man’s life unfold, learning about the most integral moments in his life, and the true underlying reason he has come to confess.

“The Cobbler's Son” aims to capture the journey of a man learning how to forgive, even though it may feel impossible; a man choosing peace, even though it’s tempting to give back what someone has done unto you; a man learning that he is so much more than his painful past. Our team of young filmmakers from Cleveland, Tennessee believe that film is one of, if not the, most powerful mediums of storytelling. We hope to bring this story to life in the best way possible, and for that to be a possibility, we need your help.
