After facing the challenges of reentering society as a felon, I discovered how difficult it can be to find stable employment. Thanks to second chance resources, I was able to earn my cosmetology license and receive training in dog grooming. I also have experience as a housekeeper, and I want to use all of these skills to create a new path for myself and serve others in my community.

My dream is to launch 'The Coat of Many Colors,' a mobile and house-call business that brings hairstyling, dog grooming, and housekeeping services directly to people's homes. This approach not only makes life easier for clients, but also allows me to reach those who may have trouble getting out. With your support, I can purchase the clippers, hairstyling tools, dog grooming supplies, and marketing materials I need to get started. A dependable vehicle would make it possible for me to reach even more people. As my business grows, I hope to collect clothing donations from clients and use them to start a clothes closet for my church, giving back to others who need a helping hand.
