In light of the recent passing of our friend, mentor, coach/teacher Harry Johnson, it seems both fitting and proper to do something that will allow his outreach to continue. We’ll be establishing the Coach Harry B. Johnson Tates Creek Memorial Fund. This will be used to directly aid the families of fellow alumni that have passed. As creator and one of the administrators of this group, I’ve been approached on numerous occasions to offer financial assistance to the aforementioned families to help with the expense of final arrangements and wishes of those that have departed. This fund will be established via Go Fund Me and a link will be generated and shared later today or tomorrow and periodically on this group page. Donations will be 100% VOLUNTARY and you’re not required to donate to become or remain a member of this group. This will allow a man that went above and beyond to help so many to continue helping others during difficult and trying times. Again, your contributions will be greatly appreciated but they ARE NOT REQUIRED IN ANY CAPACITY. Due to the large amount of members in this group, we’ll set an initial goal of $15,000 for this fund. Quarterly reports will be available for those that have donated to show exactly where and how the funds were distributed.

Thank you.
