The Climber Grief Fund

Hey Everyone!

We are trying to do something that's absolutely ridiculous... The Infinity Loop. The Infinity Loop is a route that will have us climbing Mt. Rainer twice and also circumnavigating the mountain, all in (we hope!) under 4 days. With over 143 miles and over 50k vert ahead of us, we are looking for your support!

As you all know, our beloved friend Luke passed away last March in a climbing accident. Both of us (Abby and Kiira), along with a handful of our friends, have been beneficiaries of the Climbing Grief Fund, which helped us get professional mental health help while in crisis. Due to the nature of our job and our passions, access to mental health care usually goes by the wayside. With The Climbers Grief Fund, not only do they provide funds to help get therapy started, they have an extensive list of professionals who have experience and knowledge of the outdoor industry. This was vital in getting care after Luke's accident since we didn't have to spend multiple sessions explaining the way seasonal work and work in the mountains has a way of creating unique and close relationships.

What we are asking for:

We would love for you to be a part of this adventure with us and raise some money while doing it! We are asking people to pledge per mile or per 1k vert. since there are so many variables that might make completing this goal this year impossible (conditions, weather, etc). We've set the fundraising goal for $5,000 in hopes to help support our community when they need it most, just like we've been supported!
