The Clerks: Dunstaple recording

Donation protected
Please help us raise the funds for a cutting edge new recording of music by John Dunstaple. Regarded as the 'fount and origin' of English polyphony, Dunstaple's music had a huge influence on the development of Renaissance music throughout Europe. Yet there are still some gems in his output as yet unrecorded. This project aims to fill these gaps in the discography, with recordings from source materials of the scholarly and artistic quality for which The Clerks is well known.
Founded by Edward Wickham in 1993, The Clerks has earned an international reputation for its performances and recordings of Renaissance polyphony. In its new incarnation, The Clerks brings together professional singers with the finest graduates of the Cambridge Early Music Consort programme.
This project has already gained significant support from the Musica Britannica Trust with a generous award; we are now looking for public support to ensure all costs associated with the recording and its release are covered.
We thank you for your help.
