The Ciara Lawlor Memorial has been set up in memory of a beautiful daughter, sister and friend who has left a huge void in our lives. We are having 2 events in memory of Ciara and to raise funds for 2 charities close to the Lawlors' hearts.
Firstly, Heart house which is connected to the Mater Foundation. The family heart screening clinic is a charity funded unit where relatives of persons who have died because of SADS (sudden arrythmic death syndrome) and relatives of persons that have been diagnosed with an inherited cardiac condition can access information and a cardiac check-up.
The second charity is "First Light" which provides support to anyone affected by the sudden death of a child or young person.
The events are taking place over the weekend of the 26th and 27th of May
A golf classic takes place in Kilkenny Golf Club on the 26th and a 5km walk on the 27th.
Any donations woud be gratefully recieved for these two amazing charities that receive no government support.
