Hi Family,
What a creative time to be Alive and stay connected to All those we Miss and Love and are concerned about. We certainly have missed y’all!
The Church of Yoga was inspired by my LOVE for the people, music and culture of New Orleans. I first visited this great city in 1992 when I was driving across America and she kept calling me back. On a visit 4 years ago this month, I was hoping to find a home in the 7th ward and tripped across the Church for Sale and the rest is Yoga history. In February we just Celebrated 3 years of awesome community and connection.
With your Love and Support we are hoping to re-OPEN the CHURCH, just as soon as we are safely allowed to of course.
As you know we have always been a Donation-based Center and have relied on your generosity to keep the doors open, pay the teachers and welcome all those with a desire to practice. We also offer FREE yoga for beginners, NOLA’s musicians and for those In Recovery.
We are shouting you out today with your Big hearts and Love for the Church to HELP us OPEN back UP!
A BIG Shout to the Beloved Teaching Family for sharing their practices on INSTAGRAM and NOW ZOOM daily at 12:30pm.
Please Help US Pump fresh LIFE into the Church and into our Community.
