The Chronicles of Skylar

On September 1, 2023, Skylar was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Specifically, a DIPG, which is a tumor in the upper part of the brain stem. Because of the location, it is inoperable and it is not an option to biopsy or have surgery on.

Skylar will begin radiation and a clinical trial on Thursday 9/14,

As the family navigates this process we are reaching out for donations to go towards travel from Augusta to Atlanta and for upcoming expenses. Let's let Skylar know she is not alone through this, and we are keeping her in our collective hearts and prayers.
