Paying it forward:
On February 9, 2021, our community lost a shining star. To say the least, Christopher Lewis Durr was a brilliant and talented 21-year old whose future truly showed great promise academically and in the performing arts. Always giving his all in every endeavor that he pursued, whether in the professional life of reaching a million dollars by the age of 30, his personal life of contributing money, love, a helping hand, a great voice, and a listening ear, or excelling in academia; throughout his short time with us.
As the community reflects on the beautiful life he lived and the countless lives he touched, we would like to honor Christopher by establishing The Christopher Lewis Durr Memorial Scholarship Foundation at SOAR High School in Lancaster, CA. The growth of this foundation in the coming years will award an annual scholarship to high academic graduating students pursuing entrepreneurial businesses, like Christopher, who dream of pursuing their goals and gifting their talents to a world beyond high school.
