2020 - we started out friends. It was cool but it was all preteeeeennddddd. Yeah Yeah. I want this pain to be gone. Lol. (to the tune of since you've been gone - by Kelly Clarkson)
2020 has been full of wyld shit. I lost my job in capitalism at the beginning of quarantine (arguably the best thing to happen all year aside from the not having money thing). Shortly thereafter I got a part-time job, which I'm still in now, but it definitely doesn't pay Nashville's high ass bills. I was able to get by for a while, as a result of doing trainings/facilitations w/ my best friend, but I haven't had any one-off jobs in a while. My usual fallback of nannying/childcare doesn't work because it's a pandemic so I've been applying to other full-time/part-time jobs and haven't had any luck, as of yet.
My laptop has been broken since the top of quarantine and just last week the transmission in my car went out and I found out that my warranty expired the Monday before the transmission went out - needless to say I ain't got funds to get a new laptop or transmission and this car was already on its last leg with all of the other issues going on. It just worked because it was drive-able.
I REALLY JUST WANT TO GET THIS SMILE BACK ON MY FACE.
Anyone that knows me knows I have a really difficult time asking for money because of trauma, but I'm trying to grow through and past that fear and mindset of scarcity.
I'm reaching out to community & extended community to assist me getting a new vehicle, a new laptop, and up to date on my electricity bill (which is wyld overdue and they are starting back doing cut-offs like the pandemic doesn't exist but ok).
Please donate and/or share if you can!
Also - If you decide to donate and consent to sharing your info (only with me), I'd love for you to send me your email address via DM so I can send you something special as a token of my appreciation.
In love & struggle,
Teddy G
