The Chocolate Room Covid-19 Relief Fund

The Chocolate Room has been proudly serving Brooklyn chocolate lovers for 15 years. We love chocolate, but we've always felt the most rewarding part of being in business is our relationships with you, our loyal customers. While we've had our share of ups and downs, the Covid-19 Pandemic might be our biggest challenge yet. Through February of this year, we had 2 cafes open 7 days a week with a staff of 18.  Now, as of March 16, we're down to 4 employees at our Cobble Hill shop which is only open for limited hours and operations. We were forced to temporarily close our Park Slope shop on March 21, 2020. Revenue has plummeted while our operating expenses continue to remain high. Federal stimulus money has not come through yet. We're asking for help to fund our operating expenses during this uncertain time. Our goal is to raise enough money to navigate this period until federal money comes in and/or the severity of the pandemic lessens and we can fully reopen, reemploy our staff, and once again supply NYC with extraordinary chocolate, and enjoy witnessing smiling faces.  We look forward to opening our doors so we can freely spend time with our customers, and we're hopeful for that day.
