It is with a heavy heart that I write this. As you all know, Luigi “Big Lou” Buscaglia passed away this week on August 10. Leaving behind his family and friends , more importantly - his two children Luigi and Gloriana. The apples of his eye. To know him, is to know his children are what he lived for. Lou has been fighting his battle with cancer in private for two years now. These last 2 months he had been terminal and his kids, who live in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, both with careers, and Gloriana in the Air Force, had to put in leaves at their respected jobs to care for their dad. Never leaving his side. Day in and day out sleeping at the hospital. He was a proud man and he wanted his children by his side. Since they have not worked, they have had no salary coming in and we are looking for your help to get them back on track. No donation is too small. As they bury their father and travel back to life as they knew it, we’d like to send them home with some financial security and peace of mind as they are emotionally struggling.
