Our beloved dad, son, husband, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, son-in-law, and friend passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at the age of 46.
To meet or to know Terrel was to love him. We have no words for the pain and sorrow we feel as a family. We have been overwhelmed by the love and support from friends, family, and colleagues. We are immensely grateful to those who have asked what they can do, what does your family need, or where can they send flowers and best wishes. As we have been trying to process the immeasurable grief we all feel, our greatest struggle comes from the confusion, pain, and hurt for his five children: Terrel Joseph "TJ" (age 2), Willow (age 5), Olivia (age 7), Jaide (age19), and Keyera (age 27). We all grieve with and for them and can think of no better way to honor our beloved Terrel than to continue his goal of assisting his children achieve their hopes and dreams.
When I asked for Keyera's permission, she said, “That's a wonderful idea, but I’m too old. Let it be for the others.” She sympathizes with her younger siblings who are not yet old enough to understand, like Young TJ, who keeps asking everyone with a phone if he can call daddy.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please donate to this fund. 100% of donations will go directly to his children.
Finally, we would like to take the opportunity to thank all the friends and family who have supported us through this unexpected and tragic loss. Our beloved Terrel departed far too soon for any of us to understand.
