Amanda went in for surgery for a stint to be put in her brain to help with her severe headaches, but the catheter hit an artery that put her into unstoppable seizures. She is now in a medically induced coma. The CT scan showed either a small bleed or a contrast and there
is air in her veins, likely from the low heart rate. They expected her to come to and act fairly normal once she came off of the medicine, but that did not happen. She did not wake up and is not moving any limbs on demand. They can't figure out what is wrong so they are doing an MRI to see if there is any tissue damage and we should know some results tomorrow. We are raising funds for the costs of staying in Edmonton, food, fuel as Jay is self-employed and unable to work right now as he has to be by Amanda's side. June 5th is their Wedding Anniversary so we are all praying for an ultimate healing where Amanda just wakes up and their lives can go back to normal. Until then will you be able to help them?
