My friends, as many of you know, my son Edward Rose lost his life on October 5, 2022. He left behind two beautiful children, ages 6 and 2, and their wonderful mothers. He is also survived by his parents, four sisters and three brothers-in-law, grandparents, aunts & an uncle, and a host of cherished friends. He left a broad footprint in his 27 years as a devoted father, partner, and loyal and loving friend.

We've set up this GoFundMe to help with current expenses and build a small foundation for education and security for his children. Those expenses will include assisting with daycare and after-school care and enabling his partner to move to full-time employment. The plan is for us, as Eddie's parents, to take over day-to-day funding in about 2-3 months; in the period prior to that date, we'll draw from these contributions to make sure the little ones are housed and fed. The balance of the funds will be deposited in accounts to provide for the children's long-term educational savings.
