The Chichester Arms Defibrillator Fund
Donation protected
In aid of Tuesdays events, where a man who was passing the Chichester Arms suddenly collapsed due to a suspected heart attack, we are looking to raise some money to supply a Defibrillator for the local community.
First off, we would like to wish the man in question a speedy recovery and let him know we have all had him in our thoughts ♥️
We would also like to praise the speedy response time from our great ambulance service, who quickly took control of the situation and their excellent work to stabilise the casualty in question.
And last but not least, the quick actions of a member of our staff, along side passers by, who promptly attended the scene, giving vital CPR and chest compressions, which undoubtedly gave this man every chance of survival..
Being a prime location for travellers using the metro etc it is an imperative piece of equipment that could potentially save a life. There is either zero to little funding available for these devices from our NHS so it is up to our staff and community to raise around £2000 to supply one!
We will be holding a charity night and a staff fundraising day to raise the vital funds needed to buy the equipment for any members of the local community who may find themselves in need of this life saving device one day..
I’d like to ask if anyone could possibly spare a little raffle prize or donation to us to raise these funds with!
Huge thanks in advance, from all at The Chi
