To all those that knew Doug he was in a constant state of fixing, renovating, repairing, and generally just making sure that his beloved family had a warm, safe, and open home. With his loss the impossible task of taking on his role has fallen to us, and quite simply it cannot be done. The constant balancing act that Doug was able to maintain is just not sustainable and as such we are forced to invest more then we have to reach a level that is workable for those he left behind.
Believe me, I know that not everyone can make a monetary donation and I would never besmirch Doug's name by saying that you have too. But with that said if you cannot make a monetary donation all I ask is that you email me a story of how you knew Doug, it can be five words or five hundred pages (hopefully not that many pages). My email is [email redacted] and I would say that even if you do make a monetary donation I would hope you still would have a story of Doug to tell.
