The Chaotic Kid LLC & Startup

Hey! YO! HELLLOOOO!

 

My name is Lucianna DiGenova, and I believe in the power of art.

 

Throughout my high school career, I really had a hard time when it came to learning right from wrong, I'd often find myself in times of trouble and I did not know how to deal with all of the new feelings I was experiencing, especially with how massive they were feeling to me at the time. I was often led to journaling by my counselors and therapist. They told me it was going to help me cope with the way I was feeling and what I was thinking. And it did.

 

I really did not think I would fit into higher education but I did when I found Cazenovia College. Throughout my time as an art major at Cazenovia, I still found myself journaling but my journal entries sort of advanced to doodles, drawing, and poetry. Anything I could put on that page to make myself feel better at that moment.

 

Flash forward to my senior year, and I did an entire project on doodling and using doodling as a powerful tool for visual language. I discovered it helps with our cognitive brain function and our memory. But most importantly I realized just how much art can help heal people because that's what happened to me.

 

I came up with my branding concept where I address myself and my work under the name The Chaotic Kid. Doodling allowed me to create a world of my own, where I am not only interpreting my experience of the things around me but creating a new space, where there were no restrictions or quantifications on what was or how I was creating. Nothing I was doing was wrong and I was able to communicate that I was longing to as an artist for so long. It has become the way I represent myself and the life that is happening all around me.

 

Finding comfort through chaos, and all the things that made me feel different. The goal for the Chaotic Kid as a brand is to maybe one day have a non-for-profit organization where I can help change my city and the lives of people in it where there is access to mental health resources and opportunities for engagement in art and other creative outlets.

 

That being said my overall goal is to help pay for my LLC, and to trademark my name The Chaotic Kid. I believe that I can make a difference with my art. I am investing everything I can on my own to be able to make this dream of mine happen. The money donated will also contribute to things like sticker production, booth rental fees and honestly a lot more.

 

Whatever you can contribute would mean so much to me and my mission.
