The Channel Swim in a Pool

Over the next few months, I am going to be raising money for prospective UWC students who are just shy of being able to fully afford it. The UWC mission is: "UWC makes education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future." it is a unique education made for people who are determined to make a change for good. Not everyone is privileged enough to be able to completely afford a UWC education, that is why I, among others, have decided to fundraise for these amazing change-makers of tomorrow. To raise money, I am going to swim the length of the English Channel in a pool (1352 lengths) as well as bake sales and other fundraisers! These students really deserve this opportunity! I could not believe that I got a nomination for UWC Atlantic. It has been a lifelong dream of mine to go there and I am so grateful to have been accepted. I hope this amazing opportunity that I have been offered, will set me up to achieve my goals and really make a change in our world! Personally, I would like to train and become a doctor, however, it has always been a strong desire of mine to go into something where I can make changes that make peoples lives better. I would love to be something like a UN ambassador or potentially even president of an organisation like the UN one day… You can always dream. I am so, so grateful that I have been given the opportunity of UWC, which will allow me to grow as a person and develop my personality and individual identity as a member of the global community. On top of this, I will finally be able to live in the UK and find my roots. I am so excited to be part of the global community that is UWC, and for its unique, open-minded education to give me the basis I need to make a difference in the future. I want to make sure that other students are able to have the same amazing opportunity that i have, which is why we need your help! We want to give the students the backing they need to go to a place where they can make the difference we need to see in the world. Won't you help me out? Any little bit helps! By donating, you are investing in the future, I promise you will not regret. Any donation, no matter how small would be greatly appreciated! :)
