Hi everyone. Making a go-fund me is something I never imagined I’d ever do, but many friends & loved ones have reached out to us about donating and helping with the cost of expenses in the sudden death of my Grandma.
Melony was the person who stepped up and raised my brothers and I, alongside with my late Grandpa, who just recently passed last year. She did so after having raised 4 kids of her own(my mom, aunts & uncle). Then Alex, landen and I all from the ripe age of me being 11 months. So ultimately we’ve never known them by anything besides mom and dad. They were our lifelines for so many years, and the reason I am who I am today. The concept that they’re both not here anymore is something, I don’t think we’re going to wrap our heads around anytime soon.
She had came home from the hospital with positive covid and pneumonia Wednesday and Alex found her Friday morning lying peacefully, unfortunately passed away. Not much later that day both my brothers and friends got into a bad wreck. Thankfully all doing okay. Definitely has been a bit stressful.
I could ramble on for a long time about all the good/bad/indifferent things in my last almost 20 years of life. One thing I will say is I wouldn’t change the experiences for the world.
I’ve always been good at English, but writing this is one of the hardest concepts I’ve been struggling and stalling to do. We will have a beautiful celebration in the honor and fashion of how she would have wanted it. Again, we don’t expect anything. I just appreciate all of our support systems reaching out about helping and being with us every step of the way.
Always, thank you allGod is good.
