This GoFundMe is for a mother of two, Marisol Rengifo. We are the daughters of an angel that once walked this earth. Our names are Kimberly Rengifo-Tunstall and Katherine Harris. Our mother was unexpectedly taken from this world way too soon. Many of you were blessed to have known such a beautiful, outgoing, charismatic, funny, and caring soul. Then there are those of you who have not gotten the chance to meet her or encounter the brightening presence she exerted in every room she stepped into.

Let us tell you a little bit about her. She was one of the best cooks! From the moment you stepped into her home, you could smell the most delightful scents coming from the kitchen, and everyone was invited to have a plate. Let's not forget about her coquito that she made from scratch every holiday. IT WAS TO DIE FOR!! She had the best sense of style. Our mother always walked into every event dressed to impress. She was from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and boy was she a proud boricua. She always represented her culture and shared her heritage with others, whether it was through her cooking, the music she listened and danced to, or the telenovelas she watched. English was not her first language. As if you couldn't already tell from her cute and funny accent, but she was brilliant and learned English all on her own. She cared about everyone in her life. Whenever she was needed, she was there, no matter what.

We are raising money to give our beautiful mother the goodbye she wanted and deserved. As well as to help ease the financial burden due to this being sudden and tragic to our family! Any amount is greatly appreciated.

Muchos de ustedes tuvieron la bendición de conocer un alma tan hermosa, extrovertida, carismática, divertida y cariñosa. Luego están aquellos de ustedes que no han tenido la oportunidad de conocerla o experimentar la presencia luminosa que irradiaba en cada habitación en la que entraba. Permítannos contarles un poco sobre ella. ¡Era una de las mejores cocineras! Desde el momento en que entrabas en su casa, podías oler los aromas más deliciosos provenientes de la cocina, y todos estaban invitados a servirse un plato. No olvidemos su coquito que preparaba desde cero cada festividad. ¡ERA PARA MORIRSE!! Tenía el mejor sentido del estilo. Nuestra madre siempre llegaba a cada evento vestida para impresionar. Era de San Juan, Puerto Rico, y vaya que estaba orgullosa de ser boricua.Siempre representó su cultura y compartió su herencia con los demás, ya fuera a través de su cocina, la música que escuchaba y bailaba, o las telenovelas que veía. El inglés no era su primer idioma. Como si no pudieras notarlo ya por su acento lindo y divertido, pero era brillante y aprendió inglés por su cuenta. Se preocupaba por todos en su vida. Siempre que la necesitaban, ella estaba allí, sin importar qué.

Estamos recaudando dinero para darle a nuestra hermosa madre la despedida que quería y se merecía. Además de ayudar aliviar la carga financiera debido a que esto ha sido repentino y tràgico para nuestra familia. Cualquier cantidad es muy apreciada.
