The Cavanah Hurricane Harvey Story
Donation protected
My niece, Whitney, her husband Joe and their three year old daughter, Harper Cavanah live in League City, Texas, a town south of Houston that was severely affected by Hurricane Harvey. On Saturday and Sunday, August 26th and 27th, the first floor of their home flooded. The aftermath of the storm caused significant damage to the walls, floors, cabinets, doors, and Joe’s car. They are currently living on the second floor while clean-up and mold mitigation takes place.
They also took in a family of four for several weeks who had lost their home to the flood...and they were all living on the second floor!
As with many residents of League City, they had no flood insurance. Costs to repair their home are in the thousands. Although the Cavanahs are working hard to rebuild and are thankful for their safety, they could use a little help. Any gift would be greatly appreciated.
My name is Judy Solano and I am Whitney's aunt. I live in Colorado and I wanted to do something to help Whitney and her family. Please give what you can.
Thank you.
