The cats of Milos island

My name is George Kamakaris, and together with Andreas Belivanakis, we are launching this initiative to support the stray cats of Milos.

Milos is home to hundreds of stray cats who depend on locals for food during winter and on both tourists and locals during summer. Unfortunately, they receive no medical care.

Through this channel, Andreas and I aim to raise funds that will be 100% dedicated to three key areas:

1. Food – Many volunteers on the island are eager to help feed the cats but cannot afford to do so regularly. Your support will ensure Milos cats don’t go hungry.

2. Healthcare – Depending on the funds raised, veterinarians will visit Milos to provide essential medical care, including vaccinations and treatments to keep the cats healthy.

3. Spaying & Neutering – To control the cat population and ensure harmony among them and other animals, we will fund spaying and neutering efforts.

This initiative will be shared on the official Milos Island Facebook group, where we will also provide updates on our progress.
