This fundraiser has been organized to benefit a family that means so much to so many of us. Ray, Anna and their daughter Toni are wonderful friends, neighbors and family members who truly need our help. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help offset the costs of Ray’s medical treatments and loss of income resulting from his battle in a two-fronted war with cancer. Ray has been diagnosed with both lung and esophageal cancer and has already survived bladder cancer.

Most families could not imagine fighting cancer once let alone three times. But this strong family is doing this.

Ray is now retired but spent his working career in both the construction and auto collision fields. He is an avid gardener and a huge fan of classic TV shows, especially Westerns. Anna is employed as an events coordinator in a senior living community and as a booking agent and graphic artist for an Elvis Presley tribute artist. However, she has had to reduce her hours at both jobs to care for Ray and to take him to the medical appointments needed for his cancer treatments. Their daughter Toni is employed as a pre-school and daycare worker and also assists Anna with Ray’s needs.

This family is in danger of losing their home if we cannot assist financially. We don’t know the total financial impact this battle will eventually have but we are starting out with a goal of $50,000.
