The CASEY MACK YOUTH LIFETIME LICENSE FUND

My son Casey Mack Goodson Jr. loved fishing. He would fish off the shore or bank, boats, docks and piers, you name it if there was water he would find a way to fish it.

We lost him January 1, 2023, he was only 22 years old. Just getting home from fishing (naturally) when he noticed someone in his shed. He was shot and killed by what we believe was an attempted home robbery. With such a devastating loss, we wanted to come up with something to honor him, and who he was.

All of my sons were gifted Lifetime Hunting and Fishing Licenses from their Pawpaw when they were very young, and I can't tell you what a truly amazing gift it was and still is for them.

Not too long after loosing my son, the idea popped up to sponsor a child for a Lifetime License and I knew I had found the perfect way to honor him.

We are hoping to raise $1000 in order to sponsor a minimum of 3 children with a Florida resident Lifetime License. I originally planned on announcing this January 1st 2024 but with the Governors recent announcement in the reduction in cost for a few months I am hoping we can help set up several kids with this gift.

We understand how tough times are for so many of us right now, please any amount you can donate is appreciated. $5 or $50 each donation is truly a gift to us.

In the next few days I will be send out information via Facebook on how to submit an email for your child to be choosen. It will be a public post and will be under Heather Strickland (in Tallahassee, FL)
